Google Tag Manager
If Google Tag Manager already runs on your website, you can add the assistant from there without touching the site itself.
Steps follow Google's Tag Manager help, November 2026.
What you need
A Tag Manager container that is already installed on every page of your website, and access to publish it.
Add the code
- In the dashboard open Widget, then Placement, and copy the code.
- In Tag Manager open Tags and press New.
- Press Tag Configuration and choose Custom HTML. Paste the code into the HTML field.
- Under Triggering choose All Pages, name the tag (for example Beacel) and save it.
- Press Submit, choose Publish and Create Version and press Publish. Nothing reaches your website before you publish.
<script src="https://beacel.com/widget.js" data-beacel="k9-x_Q2a" async></script>
Chat inside a page
Tag Manager adds scripts, not page content: a chat inside a page or a button of your own has to be added to the page itself (see Custom website). Through Tag Manager, use the button in the corner.
Check that it works
Open your website once, then press Check my site. Added the code through a tag manager or a script that loads later? This check reads your page's HTML and can't see it. Open your site once: it shows as installed when the chat reports in.
