Squarespace

Squarespace's code injection puts the line on every page of your site at once.

Steps follow Squarespace's help, November 2026.

What you need

Squarespace lists code injection in the Core, Plus and Advanced plans and some older plans. Basic is not on that list.

Add the code

  1. In the dashboard open Widget, then Placement, and copy the code.
  2. In Squarespace open the Code Injection panel (if you do not see it, search for Code Injection).
  3. Paste the code into the Footer field (code there goes before the end of every page).
  4. Press Save.

Chat inside a page, or your own button

Edit the page, press Add block (or +), choose Code, set its mode to HTML and paste the box where the chat should appear:

Or a button of your own that opens the chat:

Check that it works

Open your website once, then press Check my site. Not detected yet. It shows up here a few minutes after your site loads the code.
