WordPress
On WordPress the easiest way is our plugin: upload it once and the assistant appears on every page. No code to paste.
Steps follow WordPress's help and the WPCode plugin's page, November 2026.
With the Beacel plugin
- In the dashboard open Widget, then Placement, and press Download the Beacel plugin. The file already holds your site's key.
- In WordPress go to Plugins, then Add New, and press Upload Plugin at the top.
- Choose the file you downloaded and press Install Now, then Activate Plugin.
- Back in the dashboard, press Check my site.
You need a WordPress where you can install plugins (your own hosting, or a WordPress.com plan that allows plugins).
Or paste the line yourself
If you would rather not add our plugin, a header and footer plugin can carry the line. With the free WPCode plugin:
- Copy the code from Widget, then Placement.
- Install and activate WPCode (Plugins, Add New, search for "WPCode").
- Open Code Snippets, then its header and footer screen, paste the line into the footer box and save.
<script src="https://beacel.com/widget.js" data-beacel="k9-x_Q2a" async></script>
Chat inside a page, or your own button
The plugin or the footer line already loads the assistant on every page. To show the chat inside one page, edit that page, add a Custom HTML block where the chat should be and paste:
<div data-beacel-inline></div>
To open the chat from a button of your own, put this in a Custom HTML block:
<button type="button" data-beacel-open>Write to us</button>
Check that it works
Open your website once, then press Check my site. Not detected yet. It shows up here a few minutes after your site loads the code.
A caching plugin (WP Rocket, LiteSpeed Cache and others) can show visitors an older copy of your pages: if the assistant does not appear, clear its cache.
