Shopify
On Shopify the line goes into your theme's main layout file once, and every page of your shop has it.
Steps follow Shopify's help, November 2026.
What you need
Access to your Shopify admin with permission to edit themes. Shopify lets you edit a theme's code only after you have bought the theme.
Add the code
- In the dashboard open Widget, then Placement, and copy the code.
- In your Shopify admin go to Online Store, then Themes. Next to your current theme open the ... menu and choose Edit code.
- In the Layout folder open theme.liquid.
- Paste the code on its own line just above
</body>near the end of the file, and press Save.
<script src="https://beacel.com/widget.js" data-beacel="k9-x_Q2a" async></script>
Shopify warns that a theme update can remove changes made to a theme's code. After you update or change your theme, check that the line is still there.
Chat inside a page, or your own button
If your theme offers a Custom Liquid section, open Online Store, Edit theme, go to the page, press Add section, choose Custom Liquid, paste the box and press Save:
<div data-beacel-inline></div>
Or a button of your own that opens the chat:
<button type="button" data-beacel-open>Write to us</button>
Check that it works
Open your shop once, then press Check my site. Not detected yet. It shows up here a few minutes after your site loads the code.
